About the Drive Thru Light Show Fund
The Drive Thru Light Show Fund supports the creation of a brand-new holiday light experience at Perry Farm Park. This project aims to bring families together each winter to celebrate the season with a spectacular display of lights and holiday spirit.
Through community donations and sponsorships, we will build the show in phases—each year expanding and enhancing the experience with new technology, larger displays, and added features. Every contribution directly helps bring this vision to life, turning Perry Farm Park into a regional destination for holiday cheer.
The pavilion’s existing permanent lighting will be incorporated into the show, allowing full coordination with the rest of the display.
Development Phases
The Drive Thru Christmas Light Show will be developed in three strategic phases, allowing the display to grow each year.
Phase 1: Park And View
Establishing the Light Show
Phase One will introduce the Drive Thru Christmas Light Show at Perry Farm Park, transforming the park into a festive destination for the community. During this initial stage, visitors will pull into one of over a dozen designated parking spaces to enjoy a synchronized light show from their vehicles. The experience will feature a growing collection of light-up Christmas props, funded through community partner donations. These displays will range from smaller, charming pieces to larger centerpiece decorations, creating a magical holiday atmosphere for families to enjoy together.
Phase 2: Drive Thru Light Show
Creating a Local Holiday Tradition
In Phase Two, the light show evolves into a full drive-thru experience. Guests will follow a guided route through the illuminated park, passing through dazzling new features such as a drive-thru light tunnel and a towering mega tree, which will be our show’s centerpiece for years to come. With additional community support, we’ll expand the collection of light displays and create an immersive, flowing experience that surrounds visitors in holiday magic from every direction. This phase marks the transition from a stationary viewing event to an interactive drive-thru show.
Phase 3: Expanded Drive Thru Light Show
Expanding and Enriching the Experience
Phase Three will complete the vision of the Drive Thru Christmas Light Show, extending the route to include the parking lot of the Exploration Station and the surrounding fields. This expansion will increase the overall length of the path and allow for even more light displays, themed sections, and immersive moments along the way. With each addition, the show will become a signature holiday event for Perry Farm Park and the surrounding community—bringing families together year after year to celebrate the season in a truly spectacular way.
